MacGruber 2 has been bandied about in an "on again/off again" fashion since 2012, with each story giving and taking hope for a sequel in equal measure. Considering the film was released in 2010 and the result has been the same, there's still a good chance the sequel to the film based off of an SNL sketch may never happen. If you've talked to Will Forte as recently as six months ago, he would have told you that MacGruber 2 was still off the table as a possibility.
