It felt like Spring Break at the movies this weekend as DreamWorks hit something of a Home-run while Get Hard also drew strong numbers at the box office. DreamWorks Animation needed a strong boost with their latest offering, Home. The studio hasn't had a non-sequel break the $50 million opening mark since Monsters vs. Aliens in 2009 and their last two non-sequels, Mr. Peabody & Sherman and Turbo, were duds out of the box office gate.
