Move Over, Empire! Fox Will Sing a Different Tune with Star

Fox has ordered Star, a new pilot from Empire co-creator Lee Daniels, the network announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association fall previews. Set in Atlanta, Star will tell the story of three ambitious young women who form a girl band.
