Nearly 14 million people tuned in to see David Letterman's final night hosting The Late Show.

The audience of 13.76 million (and a 3.1 rating among adults 18 to 49) gave the show its highest ratings since February 1994 (when it was immediately preceded by coverage of the Winter Olympics).
