The ladies of Ghostbusters are ready to get slimed!
The first set photos have emerged from the set of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, which features an all-female lead cast. Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Kristen Wiig look like they're having an amazing time on set with director Paul Feig.
Dads and stepdads are natural enemies. Sometimes blended families can make it work, but there's usually some tension between two men vying for the top paternal spot in their kids' lives. And that sort of tension is Hollywood comedy gold.
Just in time for Father's Day, the trailer for Will Ferrell and
Stefon took a break from promoting New York City's hottest nightclubs to teach some high schoolers the importance of fire prevention.
Former Saturday Night Live star Bill Hader agreed to participate in a Make-A-Wish request from Grace Aroune, a teenage girl in Elma, N.Y., that involved pranking her
Although we're pretty sure the casting will be laughable (see: Saved By the Bell) and the plot exaggerated, we'll take any excuse to relive pivotal moments from the series and see how they
Ian McKellen and the cast of Entourage: not your typical gathering of famous folk, but then again, the Empire Podcast is not your typical film programme. Be sure to tune in to hear Gandalf singing songs from Beauty And The Beast, as well as Johnny "Drama" Chase talking about dinosaur heads. It'll make sense in context, promise.
Edinburgh Film Festival goers will get a double helping of Corin Hardy’s debut horror The Hallow this weekend. The film has its UK premiere tomorrow night, spooking up proceeding royally with a folky yarn set in deep, dark woods full of things that go bump (and worse) in the night, before the man himself stops by the Empire Podcast to tell us all about it. Check out its new trailer below.
Dedicated to monster luminaries like Ray Harryhausen, Dick Smith and Stan Winston, The Hallow follows conservationist Joseph Mawle, his wife (Drag Me To Hell’s Bojana Novakovic) and their wee bairn to a remote mill in the Irish countryside. There, they unwittingly disturb the local nastie. “Fairies, banshees, baby stealers...” as the local scary man warns them.
The trailer builds to a satisfyingly creepy crescendo of nocturnal dread. Everything we’ve seen so far bodes well for Hardy’s next project: The Crow. If you’re not in Edinburgh this weekend, you can catch The Hallow across the rest of the UK on November 13. If you are, head here for details of its festival screenings.
