Tuesday's episode of NCIS marked the first one the series has aired since showrunner Gary Glasberg's sudden death last week.
The episode, which also featured the return of Dr. Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo), was filmed and finalized well before Glasberg's passing, so his death was not addressed
