I never understood why subsequent Terminator movies never attempted to bring Robert Patrick back into the fold. He was, without question, the second-most effective and memorable villain in the series (after Arnold Schwarzenegger's original T-800, of course). And I assumed either Rise of the Machines or Terminator Salvation would have figured some way to use the franchise's valuable asset. Well, they didn't, but Alan Taylor's Terminator: Genisys might have crossed this item off its bucket list.
