Amiibo 'cards' may provide unlocks for retired figures, says Miyamoto

Players will still have a way to unlock items with discontinued toys.

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has suggested that gamers who aren't able to buy certain Amiibo toys before they're discontinued may have alternative ways to access the content they unlock in the future.
