The Vampire Diaries returns on Thursday (8/7c, The CW) for its first season without star Nina Dobrev.
But the citizens of Mystic Falls have bigger things to focus on than grieving over Elena. The Heretics have taken over the town, creating an all-out war between the Salvatore brothers and their
How'd you like our last-minute dance? I thought Bindi killed it. I think as a whole, some of the critiques from the judges -- bigger frame, watch the shoulders -- are accurate, but I'm just so proud of her for learning and performing it. She was extraordinary. She
Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester would likely reprise their roles in the film, which hopes to shoot in South America in 2016. Both actors currently star in new shows on NBC, with Winchester playing the lead
The film itself is mere weeks away, so here then is what Sony and Eon are calling the final trailer for James Bond’s new outing, Spectre. Have a look below.
As per the official synopsis, a cryptic message from the past sends Daniel Craig’s Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.
Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr. White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot. As Bond ventures towards the heart of SPECTRE, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks.
The new promo recycles moments from the other trailers, while including a frosty new interaction between Bond and Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz), the seeming mastermind behind all his recent troubles.
With Dave Bautista, Rory Kinnear and Stephanie Sigman also among the cast, Spectre will be out in the UK on October 26, before US audiences get their first glimpse on November 6. For everything you might need to know about the film, use your magnetic watch (or your web browser) to unlock this feature. Plus don't forget that the latest Empire is filled to the brim with set visits, interviews and other content all over seen by guest editor and Spectre director (try saying that fast seven times) Sam Mendes.
How do you make one of the greatest sitcoms of all time even better? Add hamsters!
That's what Mashable did when they recreated Friends' iconic opening credits starring a gang of adorable (and adoptable!) hamsters and David Schwimmer, whom you cannot adopt.
Shock! And also horror. Move over Mark Darcy – Bridget Jones has a new love. His name is Ian Pad (though he trendily goes by iPad), and he’s clearly the best thing in her life (and arms) right now. Yes, it’s the first picture of Renée Zellweger as Helen Fielding’s heroine from the third Jones outing, called – currently, at least – Bridget Jones’s Baby.
The original Bridget’s director Sharon Maguire is back to make this one, from a script that has seen work by Fielding and Far From The Madding Crowd’s David Nicholls. Plot-wise, details are still locked in Bridget’s diary, but word is that the new movie will be based on Fielding’s columns and not her third book, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, which (spoiler) outraged fans by offing Mark Darcy and leaving Bridge to raise their kids alone.
Instead, the title points to the early days of Bridget getting unexpectedly preggers and exploring the joys and challenges of motherhood. Patrick Dempsey is also in the cast in an unspecified role, though he could well be a new romantic rival, since Hugh Grant won’t be showing up in this one. There’s some debate as to whether Dempsey might be the father instead of Colin Firth’s Mark, which would add the requisite dramatic tension and potentially a chance for Firth to put his Kingsman skills to the test and avoid another rubbish slap fight. The cameras are cranking now, and we can expect delivery on the film on September 16 next year.
