This Iron Man 3 Character Was Originally Going To Die In A Very Different Way

In Iron Man 3, the Extremis virus created by Aldrich Killian gave its users tremendous powers, such as regeneration and super strength. However, having these special abilities didn't make them invincible. Case in point, Ellen Brandt, played by Stephanie Szostak, who was sent to stop Tony Stark from investigating the death of Sergeant Chad Davis, whose body rejected Extemis and incinerated him. Tony was able to defeat her using his ingenuity and kitchen equipment, but apparently the filmmakers originally planned a different way for her to die. In the scene's original storyboards posted on FilmSketcher (via ComicBookMovie.com), the fight primarily ...

10 Big Superhero Questions We'll Get Answers To In 2015

2014 was a big year for superhero movies, but now it's time to look to the future. While 2015 only has three superhero movies set for release (The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and The Fantastic Four), think of it as the calm before the storm given everything that Marvel, Warner Bros, Fox, Sony and other studios have planned for the years afterwards. So although the movie lineup will be light, the upcoming year is going to be full of exciting news and revelations. Outside of promotional material, like trailers for Ant-Man and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the upcoming year ...

Christopher Nolan Shows How He Filmed Interstellar Without Using Green Screen

It is a fact that Christopher Nolan is an amazing filmmaker, but shooting a movie about space without either going to space or using green screen is quite the feat. In the video below, Nolan shares how he made the mega-hit end-of-the-world drama, Interstellar, without using green screen (or sending Matthew McConaughey into orbit). Okay, so maybe Nolan had to use some green screen and CGI effects in Interstellar (the film is largely about space, after all), but we do live in a time where green screen and CGI is par for the course in moviemaking. Whether or not you ...

What Bill Clinton Told Ethan Hawke While They Peed Next To Each Other

Ethan Hawke has been having a crazy year, thanks to his buzzworthy role in Richard Linklater's Boyhood. He recently earned himself a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance, as well as numerous recognitions by critic circles across the country. But arguably the craziest thing to happen to Hawke happened when he was peeing next to former US President Bill Clinton. It's a pretty hilarious story that the actor dropped in a massive interview with The Daily Beast. This is how he tells it: I was waiting in line to pee at Shakespeare in the Park and ...

This Is Why X-Men Fans Will Want To Buy The Rogue Cut

Fox Home Entertainment announced a few months ago that an extended "Rogue Cut" of X-Men: Days of Future Past would be released to include Rogue's storyline that was omitted from the original film, as well as extra footage featuring several different characters. To those interested in the Rogue Cut, but not interested in buying a second copy of Days of Future Past, it seems like the Rogue Cut will be its own, unique product, and definitely worth the purchase. James Finn, the vice president of marketing communications for Fox Home Entertainment, has revealed on Twitter that the Rogue Cut will ...

Foxcatcher's Main Character Seems To Have Declared War On The Director

Mudslinging campaigns are never appreciated when a film is working its way down the Oscar campaign trail. Any questions raised about the authenticity of a project only damages the credibility of movies that consider themselves to be Best Picture contenders. Selma faced some uncomfortable questions about its historical accuracy earlier this month, and now Bennett Miller's Foxcatcher is taking severe heat from an unexpected source – namely, Mark Schultz, the man on which the movie is based. Schultz has been posting messages on his Facebook and Twitter account over the past few days, and they have been escalating in hostility toward ...
