Given how closely it's tied into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s only occasionally that Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series is directly affected by events on the big screen. Avengers: Age Of Ultron seems like the perfect opportunity for some sort of crossover, and what do you know: Marvel is doing just that.
The exact details are, somewhat naturally for the secretive company, still locked away at some level of clearance the world is not ready for, but the show’s team say that the film will have predictably wide-ranging consequences. “You should expect something,” executive producer Jed Whedon tells Entertainment Weekly. “The Avengers is the big tent that all the franchises play under.
